I have a passion for God, life, love and all its beauty. I like to surround myself with people and beautiful things that inspire me. I am passionate about looking after the environment and helping others. I believe that by doing small things like buying recycled clothing we not only help the environment and give money to charity, but also get an opportunity to find little hidden treasures and wear them! These values are what inspired me to embark on the 100 day op-shop challenge..
The rules of this 100 day op-shop challenge are simple:
Wear at least one item of second hand clothing and/or accessories each day
Buy only clothing/accessories from op-shops or second hand stores across the 100 days.
I hope that this challenge may inspire others to dress in eco-ethical ways and discover the joys of op-shopping! x x

Hi! I’ve only just cottoned on to your blog and I love it! Lately I have also limited myself to only buying recycled clothes or clothes that are ethically manufactured. I was wondering though, whereabouts from are you sourcing all these fabulous finds?
Hi Stephanie, sorry about the late reply! Most of my recycled clothes come from the Good Sammy’s op-shop on High Road in Riverton (Perth, Western Australia). It is a great place as not only are the clothes second hand but the money goes to help provide wages for people with a disability. Other than second hand clothing charity stores, I also buy second hand clothes from e-bay sellers and hand-me downs from family and friends x x

Next time you visit Adelaide drop by this dandy op shop located in western suburbs with a $1 wall ..oh and no clothing item over $10..Well done OARS SA Port Adelaide..!
Samone that sounds great- even in Perth we rarely get op-shops selling things for $1 unless it is a one-off sale
Like some of the others who have posted comments, I found you through our Melbourne Op shop blog. You are doing a great job of promoting opshops and recycling – and you wear the clothes with superb flair!
It’s a wonder someone hasn’t picked this blog up and asked you if they can use it to generate publicity for some of the mainstream opshops like Savers, the Salvos, Vinnies, etc.
Thanks Gina- what a compliment! Admittedly I approached this second hand challenge with some hesitation, thinking I would miss buying new clothes, but I have had so much fun and think I could easily keep doing it for a lot longer
